What size do I want my
awning to be?
|
|
Ideally, the minimum width would be
the width of your window or door (D) + 500mm (C) each side up to a
maximum of 5m overall. Remember that the greater the overhang the
better the shade you will get. Patio awnings are made to measure but
priced in one metre increments and we recommend that you round up to
the next size not down.

What projection do
I require?
|
 |
Projection
(E) will decide how much shade you get. Arquati cassette awnings
are available as 1.75, 2.0, 2.5, and 3.0m* projections. Budget
non-cassette awnings are available as 1.6, 2.1, and 2.35
projections. For interior shading of a window only, 1.75m is
generally adequate but the best size for shading a patio door and
sitting out of the sun is 2.5m/2.35m.

|
*Compact only.
Please note: projection = distance from wall down slope to front
rail (E) not distance from wall straight out (F).
